Job Description
We're looking for a passionate Software Engineer Intern to enhance our frontend development team. Key Responsibilities:
UI/UX Development: Collaborate in the design and implementation of user interface components that offer a seamless and engaging user experience.
Collaboration with Backend Team: Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure the frontend and backend systems communicate effectively.
Responsive Design: Implement responsive web design principles to ensure our web applications render well across multiple devices.
Feature Development: Contribute to the development of new features, from concept through deployment, ensuring they meet our users' needs.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, etc.).
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design.
Experience in computer science.
Knowledge of Mac OS and shell commands.
Knowledge of Restful API.
Familiarity with React and Material UI.
Duration and Location
This is a summer internship position lasting approximately 12 weeks.
The position is based at DeepScholar's headquarters in Seattle, with options for remote work depending on circumstances.
