Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented UI/UX Designer Intern who is passionate about creating visually compelling and user-friendly interfaces. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for design and a desire to make an impact in the field of AI and research. You will collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to design and refine the user interfaces of our digital platforms, ensuring they are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Development: Create and iterate on UI designs for web and mobile applications, focusing on workflow simplicity and user engagement.

  • Collaboration: Work closely engineers to ensure design consistency and coherence across all user touch-points.

  • Brand Consistency: Help maintain visual and brand consistency across all digital platforms.

  • Prototype Creation: Develop prototypes to demonstrate and test design concepts.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma).

  • Basic understanding of user-centered design principles and UI best practices.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

  • Interest in AI, technology, and the research sector is a plus.

Duration and Location

  • This is a summer internship position lasting approximately 12 weeks.

  • The position is based at DeepScholar's headquarters in Bellevue, WA, with options for remote work depending on circumstances.
